H Registration for entries in the Display Contest must be submitted to Display Contest Committee using the official Display Contest Entry Form.

H D56 buildings, accessories and/or figurines are required as the prominent element in each display and must be listed by name on a 3" x 5" card accompanying the exhibit.

H Snowbabies, Snowbunnies, Krinkles, Merry Makers, All Through the House, Giftware, etc. may be featured in any entry category.

H Only one entry per exhibitor in each display category.

H Size limits are included in the display description of each category.

H Exhibits will be displayed on tables with table coverings provided. A wall or easels will be provided for the hanging display category.

H Backdrops and underlays will be permitted within the size restrictions.

H Electricity will be available in the exhibit room. Extension cords, power strips, etc. and all elements of the display must be provided by exhibitor.

H Contest committee will provide display space for each registered exhibitor and will be on site during set-up and take-down hours. Set-up and take-down hours will be announced.

H Entries that do not conform to the contest rules may be disqualified.

H The display room will be monitored during open hours and locked when closed, however, the convention will not be liable for lost or stolen items.

H Displays will be viewed from the front when judged.

H Displays will be judged and cash prizes will be awarded in each category:

     First place - $150;
     Second place - $100;
     Third place - $50.

There will also be a People’s Choice Award.

H A special D56 award(s) will be given for the Club Display Contest.

H The decision of the judges is final.

Individual Display Categories

• NCC Comes Home to D56 – Display featuring at least one NCC exclusive building and accessory. Size limit – 30 x 30 inches.

• Dining with D56 – Table centerpiece with one place setting. Size limit 36 x 36 inches.

• On the Wall – Hanging display, wall display, wreath, etc. Size limit 36 x 36 inches.

• Smallville – Small display with no more than three houses. Houses not required. Size limit – 36 x 36 inches.

• Twin Cities – Large display. Size limit 36 X 48 inches.

Club Display Category

• Our Club Welcomes You – Exhibitor’s choice. Size limit 36 x 36 inches.
